A waiter delivers the martini to her table and you watch anxiously as she coolly scans the room to see who her benefactor might be. She spots you, nervous and fidgety, and you try to give her a charming smile.
Boldly, you slide off your bar stool and walk as casually as you can across the room to greet her. She watches you the entire time with a look of indifference.
